Do you happen to know the origin of the term "blind man's bluff "? Why is it called bluff? "bluff" is something like "making exaggeration", which seems unrelated to it.

ex)One afternoon recently my eighty-year-old mother was walking home and noticed several young children playing blind man's bluff on the lawn next door...

The game was originally called "blind man's buff", with "buff" meaning a small push. This makes sense when one pictures the blind-folded person stumbling around bumping into the other players.
