Ben peered into his empty glass and said,"When the doctor told me it was a brain tumour, I felt as if I died on the spot. I have nothing to live for. There will be an operation, but what chances do I have to survive?"
Anna put her hand on his arm. You've always been a fighter, Ben. You've to keep alive the hope," she said. "You'd won many battles in the past and you'll win this one too."
He looked at her with his sad grey eyes which filled with tears. "I wish you were right," he said, "but I feel this enemy is much stronger than I am."
