#3 sounds strange and arrogant.
 
"To find fault with" is a set phrase and doesn't require a plural noun (in BrE).

1. He started finding fault with me.
2. Before finding fault with others, you should look at yourself.

You don't need to use "faults" in "to find fault with". Use singular "fault" instead.
