I often come across the phrases "be rest assured" and "rest assured." I have this feeling that whenever there are two options in English grammar, one of the options is usually incorrect. So, which is correct or are both correct?

1) be rest assured
2) rest assured

Thanks for your help!

"Be assured" and "rest assured" mean the same thing.
I think "be rest assured" is incorrect.

Do you mean "be rest assured" is correct? Is it OK to have two verbs before an adjective?

No. You can rest assured or you can be assured. In both cases, the adjective assured follows a verb.

The "it is" confirmed your stated belief that it was incorrect.
