Hello.

I have to post my question again as my thread was closed. I sent a private message to one of the admins. There probably was a technical problem. I didn't use the single-quotes. I remember editing my post before posting it. So just letting the admins know that I am not ignoring what GoesStation had to repeat several times.

So my question is do you call big bars barbells and small ones bars or dumbbells? штанга1.jpg

I would call them barbells and dumbbells.

Not for either of those. Grips are a coiled spring with handles that you squeeze to develop strength in your hands.

The difference between barbells and dumbbells is the length. If it's long enough to require two hands, it's a barbell. The short ones used with one hand are dumbbells.

The 'bar' is just the metal rod that holds the weight.
