1. I asked John to go home. (Michael Swan)
2. I asked for John to go home. (My own sentence)
3. I asked for the children to have extra milk. (Michael Swan)
4. I asked the children to have extra milk. (My own sentence)
5. I asked for the parcel to be sent to my home address. (Michael Swan)
6. I asked the parcel to be sent to my home address. (My own sentence)
#1, #3, and #5 are supposed to be correct. Are #2, #4, and #6 acceptable to native speakers?

2 and 4 are grammatically possible.
With 2, you would have to have asked someone else to arrange for John to go home.
4 doesn't mean the same as 3.
6 just doesn't work. You can't ask a parcel to do anything.
