Should I use plural in this sentence or just singular?

I have a special interest in art(s).

Also which one is correct to saying this?
  1. I have a special interest in scale model
  2. I have a special interest in scale modeling

I have a special interest in art.
I have a special interest in the arts.

  1. I have a special interest in scale models.
  2. I have a special interest in scale modelling.

I have a special interest in art.

  1. I have a special interest in scale models.
  2. I have a special interest in scale modelling.

Sir, what is the difference between scale models and scale modeling in the above sentence?

What do you think the difference might be?

"Scale modeling" is the production of scale models.

"Scale modeling" is the production of scale models.

So is it correct if I say "I have a special interest in scale modeling"? Or should I say "My hobby is scale modeling"? Thanks for the previous explanation anyway.

Either of those would work.

Either of those would work.

One more question. If I have more than one interest is it OK to say: "I have a special interests in scale modeling and photography."?

As written, you would have to delete the "a" before "special". I would prefer, "I have a special interest in both scale modeling and photography."
