It is correct to say, "newly arrived visitors" as a phrase, however I doubt it if I can use "arrived visitors" in this sentence:

1. The arrived visitors respected the culture of the host country.

2. The newly arrived visitors respected the culture of the host country.

Thanks,

No.2 is natural enough but not No.1.

It is correct to say no comma here "newly arrived visitors" as a phrase. However, I doubt it if I can use "arrived visitors" in [STRIKE]this[/STRIKE] sentence 1:

1. The arrived visitors respected the culture of the host country.

2. The newly arrived visitors respected the culture of the host country.

Thanks.

Please note my corrections above.

2. The newly-arrived visitors respected the culture of the host country.
"Newly-arrived" is a compound adjective, so it should be hyphenated.

Vsitors

Try:

The visitors respected the culture of the host country.

(If they are visitors we can assume they arrived at some point. As for newly-arrived visitors, I would assume they hadn't had much time to do anything.)
