Are these similes correct and natural?

1. She came out of the bathroom, as fresh as an October rain.

2. Her smile was as refreshing as the autumn's first rain.

3. The look in her eyes was as cold as a February snow.
 
True! I don't think anyone would call October rain fresh here. More likely: biting, bitter, bone-chilling, brain-numbing, bleak. October is a B month, for sure.

It has gotten milder the past few years. But I don't think it's graduated to fresh yet!

But if the scene takes place in a warmer place, then fresh is fine.
