Hello, guys!

(1) Its purpose is to implement preventive medicine and technical treatments that allow the health and welfare of animals.

(2) Zoos provide settings that look like their habitats.

Are there any awkward expressions or grammatical mistakes in the above sentences?

[STRIKE]allow[/STRIKE] maintain the health and welfare of animals.
"Allowing an animal's health" is odd.

(2) Zoos provide settings that look like their habitats.
I know this sentence is out of context, but you need to make sure the referent of "their" is obvious.

Are there any awkward expressions or grammatical mistakes in the above sentences?
