Is the bold sentence below grammatically correct? I wanted to use it as a sentence in my introductory paragraph in an essay.

There are two main views. Here we are to elaborate on both sides’ to see whose is more rational.

No, not with an apostrophe after sides.
 
I agree with Tarheel.

I've been thinking about the apostrophe there, and I'm guessing that atabitaraf is trying to say something like this:

Here we are to elaborate on both sides' views to see whose view is more rational.
