I currently have The Cambridge Grammar of the English Language by Huddleston, which I find both informative and insightful. But it's been more than a decade since it was published. And I'd like to know if any reference book has been out since then. If any of you know of a new reference grammar book with a new approach comparable to the CGEL's, please let me know.

Has the language changed that much in ten years?
