This is from a book Wordbuilder by Guy Wellman.

The task:

My answer is:

1. sense
2. sensation
3. sensuous
4. sensible
5. sense
6. sensational
7. senseless
8. sensitive
9. sense
10. sensual

Could you proofread this? There is no answer key given, and there may be subtle nuanses here, which is difficult for me.

I don't like 'sensual' for #10, but the only alternative is to use 'sensitive' again, and I don't like that very much, either.

The others are all OK.

I'm not keen about the sensuous buzzing of bees, either, although I agree it's the only workable choice

Actually, I suppose you could switch #3 and #10 around. They're equally creepy.

I think all your answers are fine.
