1) Can you please give me a price quote to repair the roof?

yes it is fine.

Yes it's fine but when asking for a quote it usually assumes price.
As a native, I would ask "Can you give me a quote to repair the roof?"

Not a teacher

yes it is fine.
I am not a teacher, nor am I the punctuation police.

Dear marmoset---in a forum whose purpose is to help learners of English, I think it is important to always use good practice, including capital letters and punctuation. I would expect to see, "Yes, it is fine."

hi
Please note I'm not a teacher nor a native speaker;

1) Can you please give me a price quote to repair the roof?

Doesn't "quote" beg for a different preposition ? My initial thought was "on" or "for" and rephrasing "repair the roof" to "a/the roof repair".
Could someone comment on that please?

cheers
