Hello everyone,

Greetings from India !!!

I have read a mail from my friend who quoted "Am I imperative? ", As I am skeptic about the usage of the word "imperative" I searched for it and I didn't come across anything of that sort. It is used more as "Is it really imperative that I should register?", meaning is it really important.

Some one please help me whether this "Am I imperative" sentence is right or wrong.

Thanks in advance.

"Am I imperative" has no meaning in English. I suspect it's a typo. He probably meant to type something like: "am I impertinent?" (rude).

hi msecprince,

Could you please provide more context.

Cheers
