Question: All the equipment in the factory 'require or requires' servicing.

Although equipment is an uncountable noun, but I used 'require' because of the presence of 'all'. However, the answer key says 'requires'.

Please help me to understand the reason.

Thank you! :-D

Like 'money' in your other thread, 'equipment' is uncountable, as you said. It takes the singular verb.

This means that the presence of 'All' does not matter for uncountable nouns?

Thanks!

Correct.

All the girls were on time.
All the money was spent.
All the boys were late.
All the water was spilt.
