Is the sentence below, "total negation" or "partial negation"?

All of the students don't like apples.

Does it mean:

1. Some of the students like apples.

or

2. No students like apples.

A teacher told me it's "partial negation." I am confused about the usage of "all" in negative sentences.

The second one is correct, but you will never catch me saying that. Instead, I would say, "None of the students like apples."
 
It's 2 (total negation) but it's an awful sentence.
