Hi,

What does the phrase "against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places" mean in the given context below? Could you please help me? Thank you.

Ephesians 6:12 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Thank you.

The problem is that 'spiritual' and 'heavenly' convey good and positive meaning but the word 'wickedness' carries opposite meaning. It's like saying 'evil saint'.

against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places

There can be evil spirits.
