Actor Bob Croft left Hollywood at the peak of his career because (as he told the media) he was tired of that insulated, narrow-minded and duplicitous world, where people smiled at you in one moment, and in the next, as soon as you turned your back, plotted to harm you. He wasn't interesting in swimming alone in his pool, nor he wanted to surround himself with sycophants whose only goal was to use him. He also wanted his children to grew up with ordinary people and not be influenced by a bunch of mediocrities who believed they were great stars.
