the enunciation of this word changes, though in a dictionary it is still /kam/. However, I can hear /kom/ sometimes.

My question is what does it depend on?

The pronunciation depends on where the speaker comes from and whether he is a native speaker. Standard English is "cum", but in different parts of the UK you will hear "coom" or "kerm" Most foreign speakers seem to manage "cum" without difficulty, but I don't know what variations may exist in Angola.

Thanks. And sorry for my non- exact IPA.
So, the dictionary form /cum/ is the only correct one. That is what I wanted to hear.

The correct IPA transcription is /kʌm/ (or /kəm/ in some dictionaries.) The /ʌ/ may be more backed in some dialects and therefore sound more "closed."
