I wonder if either article - definite or indefinite- can be used in the following context:

- have you seen ... new talk show on channel 5? It's great!

The clue is in the second half. It says "It's great!" Do you think they are talking about a specific talk show or just any talk show?

NOT A TEACHER

"a" is possible, but it's less likely. In this type of question, the speaker would probably be referring to a particular talk show.
