Would you please check the following?

A student booked an appointment last night at around 9:30pm to be exact but I didn't get any email regarding/for the appointment.

"Around 9:30" is not exact. You can either say "around 9:30" or "at 9:30, to be exact".

Use "regarding".

Did they book the appointment at around 9.30pm last night or did they book it for 9.30pm last night?

And what did they book it for?

Did they book the appointment at around 9.30pm last night
Yes. At around 9:30 and the appointment took place the day after that between 8:00am-9:00am

To make it clearer, I'd make the whole thing longer and rearrange it.

At about 9.30pm last night, one of my students booked a one-hour tutoring session with me for 8am today. Unfortunately, I didn't receive an email notification of the booking.

I assume that you didn't tutor him, as you had no idea that he had booked.
