can you give me an opinion about how long it takes a ship vogaye from netherlands to south america in early 1900s by steam ship?

It took Columbus approx 80 days to get from Spain (Palos de la Frontera) down to Cuba in 1492.

I would guess the steam boat should be faster. Maybe 35 days? But South America is big. Which country exactly in South America?
