This is a reflection on the expression "saturday to monday" used as a noun, designed as an alternative to the more widespread term "weekend".

All I expect to know is whether or not you've ever heard it or encountered it in some piece of literature , whether it's still currently employed or not.

I have only encountered it where someone wished to be very precise about the days involved. Certainly have not met it as a "replacement" for "weekend".

:up: Incidentally, there is the fixed phrase 'a long weekend' - which lasts about 3 days (Fri/Sunday, Saturday/Monday, or early afternoon on Fri/late morning Mon).
