Dear all,
I am now editing my paper on Aramaic, my native tongue is Russian. In the first lines of the paper, I say: "In this study I will describe the ways of linking the Direct Object to the verb in all pre-modern Aramaic varieties." (In fact, most of the paper is about Differential Object Marking in Aramaic.) I feel that "LINKING" in my sentence is a bit weird but I do not know with what to replace it. Could somedody on the Forum help?
Sergey

Your capitals are weird too. I suggest:

"This study will examine the accord between the verb and direct object in Old to Late Aramaic."
