Is this a common English proverb? I thought it's only a Korean one meaning "When you do something, another thing happens to coincide with it, making you suspected for it." I found this in a workbook, but it doesn't seem an English saying.

ex) A pear drops when a crow flies from the tree.

I have never heard/seen it.

The expression is not common usage in AmE, either!
