I realized the importance of getting a job _______ (for, with, of, at) my living experience.

The given answer is 'for'. But I feel the sentence a bit strange. Should it be 'my work experience' or 'my life experience'? Can we recast the sentence?

Thank you in advance.

The correct answer is indeed 'for' as in 'for the sake of.'

But you're right, living experience is awkward, life experience is the correct usage. Whether you want to say work experience or life experience is up to you - life experience is usually associated with maturing as a person, work experience with the job skills you've learned.
