Does it mean as follows?

original price : 100
a fraction of original price : 110

Does it mean as follows?

original price : 100
a fraction of original price : 110

No. It means he sold them for much less than the original price.
 
I do a revision as follows,
100 original price
103

Is it correct now?
 
No. It means he sold them for much less than the original price.


Which words are telling you for less than original price?
 
Polyester, do you think a third of 100 is more than or less than 100?

7 is a fraction of the original price. So is 10 or 20. Any increase in this context is quite the opposite. Teechar said it has to be way under 100 in the first answer- how can anything over be under?.
