Hello everyone!
I attended Hospitality and catering school five years ago and I received a diploma in the tourism industry.
In italy we called it "Tecnico dei servizi turistici" and I don't know if there is a similar profession in other countries.
I thought I could translate with "tourism and hospitality specialist", but I think it makes a non-sense and probably it means nothing.
How can I classify a person who has the knowledge of the tourism industry who can be a receptionist, a tour operator etc.?
If also you could be so kind to check if my resume has any mistake, it would be a very nice help
I know you are not here to correct other assignment, but I really need someone who can give me some advice, for example if it is clear or not, if I have to change some senteces or not. Thank you
PROFILE:
My experience in different positions made me a team player who works well with collegues to set and achieve goals together.
Curious and motivated to learn and develop a trusting relationship with customer making them satisfied of the services offered from my former employer.
EXPERIENCE:
Server:
I focused to sell bottles of wines and cocktails that were requested by the employer. I was comfortable recommending and pairing wines with dishes for guests with the correct terminology (dry, tannin etc).
I worked hard to maintain the standard of average check requested from the restaurant and I obtained an highest wine sales certificate during my year.
I trained new servers how to approach to the guest and also instructed them how to use POS computer system.
I managed situations involving highworkload and big parties, but always ensured guests were satisfied of the service. For the satisfaction of guests I was counting to work in team both with manager and busser. If for example a guest wasn’t happy, I always asked advice to a manager to find the best solution for the guest.
SECRETARY:
Answered phone and gave information of the product to customers.
If a customer had a bad experience with a vending machine from another company, I assured that the customer knows the artisanal quality of the product and his advantage in his work envinroment.
Taked part of some fairs for the company as hostess showing the product directly to new costumer.

• Gave tourist informations and indication how to get both the hotel and the centre of Modena
RECEPTIONIST 2:
