A different pronunciation of "popular"

Dear teachers
Hi, I was checking the pronunciation of "popular" in Longman contemporary dictionary (the software), then I saw a different phonetic symbol why is that is it common?!. Please help me.

No, it's not common. I've never seen it before.
 
It looks like a mistake to me.
 
It's really a big surprise for me.
 
Dictionaries are not perfect. I imagine that entry will be removed, though.
