Dear all,

Please listen to a short extract from the video below. The question is that I don't quite catch and am confused about the phrase from a dialogue starting from:

I don't know you or .....guy Sam.

The subtitles I get indicate that the phrase should be - I don't know you. I don't know you or Sam.

Actually, I hear something like the sky Sam...

The confusing phrase starts at 1:04 on the tape.

This is not the only place where "this guy" and "the sky" have been confused! One of the most famous examples of misheard lyrics is "'Scuse me while I kiss this guy" instead of "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky"! (Jimi Hendrix)
