Hello
I'm from Germany and i have a question regarding a quotation from Ludwig van Beethoven. I asked many of my friends, who speak english well but none of them can guarantee me the correctness of the translation.
In german it is: Ich will dem Schicksal in den Rachen greifen, ganz niederbeugen soll es mich gewiss nicht!
In english: I will grab fate by the throat, it shall never drag me down!
Is there someone, who can help me and tell me, if this is the correct translation or if the translation is grammatically correct?
regards
