They stayed with me for two weeks ,________ they drank all the beer I had.

The Second World War ___ millions of people were killed ended in 1945

A.during which time B.during which

What would be your choice in these two sentences? And why? What's the difference between A

and B? I am completely puzzled! Thanks for your help!

Here's a clue, roseriver: one of them refers to a period of time, the other to an event.
