1. I think it'd be better if we met/meet after your dinner date.

2. If you want, we could/can meet after your dinner date.

For number 1, I would choose: 1. I think it'd be better if we met after your dinner date. Because of the it'd in the beginning.

For number 2, I would choose: 2. If you want, we could meet after your dinner date. Because could is more of a suggestions, but it seems can is okay too. correct?

Can an expert weigh in. Thanks!
 
I would go with "met" and "could".
 
The other options are OK;
 
Wouldn't it be better if for number 1, I stuck with the same tenses? Would and met

I prefer it, yes. But, as I said, the other option is OK.
