Hello,

“I am proud of yourself”

Is this correct grammar? We are having a debate in our home.

Thanks,

Welcome to the forum, gleo1990. :)

No. For a start, it lacks a period/full stop. Also, you have to say 'I am proud of you'.

One can only be pleased with oneself/You can only be pleased with yourself/He can only be pleased with himself, and so on.

(See Reflexive Pronouns.)

Note my corrections above. Even sentences as short as "Hello" and "Thanks" require a closing punctuation mark. You needed one at the end of your quoted sentence too, inside the quotation marks.
There is no need to say "Thanks" in advance. You can thank us after we help you, by clicking on the "Thank you" icon (you'll see it when you hover over the "Like" button). You don't need to put your username at the end of a post either.
